Hello, I am a Canadian Citizen living in Stittsville, Ontario. This little corner of the World Wide Web is where I have placed some of my interests, abilities, and where I try to share information that may be useful to others.

Back in 1993, Andrew Hutton who was running Achilles internet anounced that he had just installed a web server, and that anything that I wanted to share with the world could be placed in a special directory. Thus began an adventure

This site is also an example of an attractive site that is accessible to as many people as possible. I have tried to avoid Flashing GIF files, Gigantic Graphics, Background images, and other features that would impair the usefulness of the information to a person who requires assistance. You can view this site with both Netscape and Lynx and still view all the information. If you would like to find out more about creating web sites that are usable to everyone you may wish to look at Bobby which has many references and will also check your web site to identify barriers.

I picture myself as a facilitator and a communicator. My interests are in the interaction of technology with people, and how computing can improve our lives. I have a BA degree from the Law department of Carleton University. This degree is from a program that is only offered at Carleton. The result of this program is that I am NOT a lawyer, but understand some of the social context that the legal system lives in.

I consider myself to be capable of writing reasonably clear and understandable documents on a wide variety of topics. For an example HERE is a document that attempts to explain part of Canada's Constitutional Law.

My current employer is the Canadian Federal Government, Since the Federal Government has become an organization that is trying very hard to NOT be a Growth Industry, I would be interested in making a career move. You are welcome to Browse my resume

The First Item on this site is my General Information page, which contains a cross refence of some sites that I have found of interest. In addition you will find two Frequently Asked Questions files on Skating. There is one that explains the how the rec.sport.skating usenet news groups are arranged. Another has a list of addresses that are useful if you are looking for Figure skating Supplies.

As well, I have compiled lists of sites which should be of interest to folks like Car Fans as well as SCUBA Divers and those who wish to try understand what Lawyers are talking about!
